I had an amazing day with Didot, he not only made everything easy, he took me to fantastic 'hidden' places that most people don't go to. Our lunch spot was amazing, his stories and history were so insightful and he was exactly why I like a With Locals guide. You cannot go wrong with Didot, you will have an amazing adventure . Highly, highly recommended!!!

We had the most amazing time with Didot, he is local and super knowledgable. We could ask him so many questions about local culture and way of living and also he explained many many things about the temples. He is very friendly would definitely recommend!

Didot was a truly excellent guide — informative, thoughtful, and warm. We learned an enormous amount not just about the temples but about Yogyakarta and Indonesia. His driving was excellent and confidence inspiring (no small feat in this traffic), and he made sure we were comfortable and engaged all day. We had a lovely time and highly recommend working with Didot!

We had a day trip getting around Yogyakarta to see mainly Borobudur and Prambanan. Our guide Didot is very kind and gentle. He has a lot of knowledge and made our trip fun with witty jokes. Before hand, we communicated via wa. It’s also very smooth. Great English. Itinerary can be customized. He took us to a local market and restaurant we didn’t know. Highly recommended.

What a amazing day, Didot was brilliant on planning the trip he made great suggestions so the whole trip felt very special. Had a great day with Didot! In addition to being an extremely knowledgeable guide through Borobudur, Taman Sari, and Prambanan, he also knew all of the best food spots in Jogya. Especially enjoyed grabbing siomai for lunch! Would recommend booking Didot 10/10

We find in Didot and Nurul two good friends who guided us in a really beautiful experience. They were very kind since the first minute we met them. We learned almost everything about Borobudur and Prambanan, but we also learned about budism, hinduism and history and traditions from Indonesia, specially from Yogyakarta. We strongly recommend a tour with this lovely couple. We will forget this day.

A fantastic day, anticipating the sunrise at Borobudur and following the sunset in Prapamban.. a fantastic day .. I enjoyed every moment, to cloudy to see the sunrise or the set.. and nevertheless.. delighted each moment.. aware of the pace of time! Thanks Nurul ! And recommend to bike in Prapamban 😉

I had a great time with Didot yesterday. He was warm and friendly. I was impressed with his knowledge of the temples we visited (Plaosan, Sewu, Lumbung, Bubrah and Prambanan) as well as his understanding of the processes involved in the restoration work that is going on.
