Fun, informative, easy pace

The rain could not dampen our informative, personal and breath-taking walking tour with Maria. Perfect guide to this charming, historical town. I highly recommend Maria.

While some sights were new to us others we already knew about such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Davide with his knowledge and travel experience made the entire time rich and alive for us. We’ve had many guides and private tours over time. Davide is among the very best.

We spent about 3 hours today with Maria getting to know Lucca. She was friendly, funny and detailed in her explanations of the history of this storied city. We enjoyed spending time with her and highly recommend this tour and, more importantly, this guide if you find yourself in Lucca or the surrounding area. She is wonderful!

We LOVE Sara! What do you do with teenagers in Pisa besides eating lots of pizza? You ask Sara to explain all about her city! The history, the drama, the secrets that can be found on and in the old buildings and our favourite 🤩 the food. Local biscuits, cecina, gelato. We’re sold on all of them and no complaints from the teenagers either 😉

Maria was flexible, friendly and very knowledgeable. Being a native of Lucca really added to the experience and stories she had. We highly recommend her.

She was methodical and patient with 2 true beginners. We learned many useful phrases and how to conjugate verbs. Really enjoyed our 2 hours at Bar Monti! I can understand many conversations around me but still am somewhat shy to speak. Just need to practice more.

Right from the beginning, Emma introduced us to the charm of the locals in Pisa. We tasted different wines, cheeses, drinks and other foods along the way while learning the history of Pisa. We travelled off the beaten path and were able to see the true beauty of this Tuscany city.
