Learn about their personal stories, and find out how you can explore Pisa together
She was methodical and patient with 2 true beginners. We learned many useful phrases and how to conjugate verbs. Really enjoyed our 2 hours at Bar Monti! I can understand many conversations around me but still am somewhat shy to speak. Just need to practice more.
Right from the beginning, Emma introduced us to the charm of the locals in Pisa. We tasted different wines, cheeses, drinks and other foods along the way while learning the history of Pisa. We travelled off the beaten path and were able to see the true beauty of this Tuscany city.
We had a great tour with Francesca on our port day in Livorno. She gave a great overview of the city, lots of history and interesting facts, and was also amazing and patient with our 4 year old that wasn't quite bought in on the adventure :)
Our family of four really enjoyed this tour. It was a relaxed walk and she was very kind to keep to pace slow as my daughter was unwell.Francesca was super knowledgeable about the history of the city. It was a great orientation for our stay with lots of hints and tips of where to eat.
Emma is a great Italian teacher, with a fun personality and what could be better than having drinks and food while learning a beautiful language. She was accommodating to my schedule and I learned some key words and phrases so I could practice Italian when I was out and about during my time in Italy. You should certainly book a time with her during your stay in Roma!
A delightful way to get a quick education in everyday Italian expressions.. and the Proseco helped! Emma is kind, funny and patient and has a good lesson plan.
My coworker and myself enjoyed Emma immensely. Emma was well prepared - yes had a very approachable, easy going demeanor. She made learning Italian fun and manageable. I would definitely recommend Emma and this WithLocal tour for anyone interested in an evening of language lessons and some local wine tasting.
It was a great way to start our travels in Italy, learning Italian with Emma!
Emma is an excellent teacher who made learning Italian fun. She's patient, very flexible and has a lot of experience. She has interesting material to structure the class but at the same time she makes it all quite informal. I can't believe how much Italian I learned in such a short time. She knows some pretty cool places to drink wine too! I highly recommend her.
Emma is an excellent teacher of Italian. She adapted the level of the lesson to my ability, or lack of. She made the whole experience interesting and enjoyable. Can unreservedly recommend Emma if you want an Italian lesson in Rome.
