We had the most amazing time with our now dear friend Mariagrazia! She was extremely knowledgeable of each city and its history, foods, shopping and activities. She was personable, kind and funny. We learned all about the history & sights to see of Sorrento, Amalfi & Raffello. I highly encourage anyone interested in a private tour to ask for her availability. She was amazing!

My teenage daughter and I met Roberto at Pompeii. He helped arrange a roundtrip ride from the Naples train station to meet him at the gate of Pompeii. We walked around the site and saw the major points, but somehow felt at times like we were by ourselves in a very busy site. Roberto was engaging and knowledgable.

Mariagrazia was fun, friendly and very sociable. This is important as you spend the entire day with her. She was very accommodating to any requests or changes you wanted to make during the day. We drove through Postiano, stopped at a grotto, Amalfi and Ravello. We had time to walk around a bit at each place and take pictures along the way. Be prepared for a lot of driving and windy roads.

We so enjoyed our time in Pompeii and in Naples thanks to our guide Serena. Her knowledge and insight information about the two cities, along with her arranging all of our transportation, really helped us to enjoy this fascinating day. We had an excellent tour with Roberto. As an actual archeologist he had so much insight, stories, and information that made the tour so fun and interesting. He was great with our three boys and overall just a wonderful person. We learned so much about Pompeii, Italy, and archeology in general. Would highly recommend!

Roberto did a great job! He was exceptionally informed about the site and history. I’m a bit of a history nerd, and my wife isn’t, and Roberto did a magnificent job of straddling the line between our interests. Pompeii was a lot of walking, but definitely worth having Roberto to guide us!
