Right from the beginning, Emma introduced us to the charm of the locals in Pisa. We tasted different wines, cheeses, drinks and other foods along the way while learning the history of Pisa. We travelled off the beaten path and were able to see the true beauty of this Tuscany city.

We had a great tour with Francesca on our port day in Livorno. She gave a great overview of the city, lots of history and interesting facts, and was also amazing and patient with our 4 year old that wasn't quite bought in on the adventure :)

My teenage daughter and I met Roberto at Pompeii. He helped arrange a roundtrip ride from the Naples train station to meet him at the gate of Pompeii. We walked around the site and saw the major points, but somehow felt at times like we were by ourselves in a very busy site. Roberto was engaging and knowledgable.

As two mobility impaired people my husband and I were nervous about this tour. Those nerves were unfounded. Lia was not only accommodating, she was able to switch up what she was showing us as she learned our interests. Her love and passion were evident and made our experience much richer. Lia is an incredible guide and we couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended!!

Our family of four really enjoyed this tour. It was a relaxed walk and she was very kind to keep to pace slow as my daughter was unwell.Francesca was super knowledgeable about the history of the city. It was a great orientation for our stay with lots of hints and tips of where to eat.

We had an excellent tour with Roberto. As an actual archeologist he had so much insight, stories, and information that made the tour so fun and interesting. He was great with our three boys and overall just a wonderful person. We learned so much about Pompeii, Italy, and archeology in general. Would highly recommend!

Roberto is an archaeologist by trade and a master in his subject. His tour of Pompeii was thorough, compelling and well worth it. Personally, Roberto is very warm and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Roberto was awesome, he really brought Pompeii to life for us. He was very knowledgeable, and nice, to boot! Loved how he answered all questions (got schooled on columns!) Also really appreciated how he took our train schedule into account.

Roberto did a great job! He was exceptionally informed about the site and history. I’m a bit of a history nerd, and my wife isn’t, and Roberto did a magnificent job of straddling the line between our interests. Pompeii was a lot of walking, but definitely worth having Roberto to guide us!
