Remy is simply a cool guy to hang out with, and if my travel companions and I have to pay for the privilege, it's worth it. That's because he's incredibly steeped in the local food culture. We tried so many delicious things, including Michelin-awarded samosas. Of course, there were lots of Malaysian dishes, which we loved, but also Indian dishes, such as a lunch served on a banana leaf. We can highly recommend the tour—it was amazing! Lisa, a German who lives here, has so many great stories to tell and is very knowledgeable.

Lisa was the perfect guide. She showed us so many authentic and nice places in Georgetown where we tasted delicious food. Additionally she shared cultural insights with us. Lisa lives in Malaysia for many years and knows everything about the local food and also how to prepare it. The food tour with Lisa was one of our highlights during our stay in Malaysia.

Lisa was absolutely fabulous! She was fun and took the time to get to know us and shared her experiences traveling and living in Malaysia. It was like sitting down to eat with a new friend. She explained all the dishes and took us to her favorite spots. I would recommend her tour to everyone 😊

Loved our food tour of Georgetown with Lisa. We tried many different foods and drinks that were new to us. Lisa was very flexible and worked with our likes and dislikes. Lisa is such an interesting person with a really good knowledge of both food and culture here in Malaysia. Totally recommended.
