We very much enjoyed our tour with Lisa. We visited places and enjoyed food we would never have found on our own. I very much appreciated walking and talking with Lisa also about Georgetown and the many cultures and food that make this fascinating city. Loved every minute and highly recommend Lisa.

Joo Bee showed us a wonderful time touring Penang. We booked the tour for our first day to see the city and get recommendations for our weekend and Joo Bee did not disappoint. We took in the street art while marking down restaurants and shops that she recommended we visit later. Great way to start our weekend. Highly recommend.

This tour is an amazing experience that covers so more than just food. Remy is an incredibly interesting and passionate guy, who led us to food spots that we never would have discovered ourselves, coupled with wide-ranging chats about food, history, and philosophy. The relaxed pace of the tour shows that Remy really cares about his guests having a personalised experience. Highly recommend!

Remy was friendly, passionate and knowledgeable. A great time tasting different foods and drinks whilst hearing his stories about Penang, his life and the foods. He had good rapport with all the traders. Everything was lovely and we even had some extra goodies to take back for later. Well worth the money for having a personal guide.

We really enjoyed our tour. Many of the spots Lisa took us to weren't on our radar. Lisa did an excellent job in describing the process of making many of the dishes. I believe she tailored our tour to not overlap our other Malaysian food experiences. Lisa was very engaging.

Penang is for sure one of the most fascinating food places in Asia and Lisa will help you to discover and appreciate it to the fullest. We spent 3 hours with her roaming foodie places in atmospheric George Town, from Malay to Indian to Chinese delicacies discussing culture and everyday life in Penang. Remy is simply a cool guy to hang out with, and if my travel companions and I have to pay for the privilege, it's worth it. That's because he's incredibly steeped in the local food culture.
