My partner and I had a lovely evening with Isobel, learning about and tasting traditional Portuguese foods, talking about local culture and customs, and getting a feel for this amazing place. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and by the time we departed we were good friends. Definitely recommend.

Isabel welcomed us into her home with open arms and lovely food. My 30-something daughter and I enjoyed the experience. Isabel has interesting perspectives and tells very interesting stories. It was so great to spend time with a local in their own home and hear about what it is really like to live in Lisbon. Highly recommend!

We are experienced travelers, but had never done a meal in a home with someone we had never met. We were slightly apprehensive. Isabel welcomed us in her home and instantly made us feel at home and comfortable. Isabel is a good cook, wonderful conversationalist, and gracious host.

Very relaxed and informative trip to one winery and one cooperative wine center. Lunch at a small local restaurant. This gave me an idea of how people live their lives in this area.

We had the nicest evening with our very welcoming hostess Helena. We started with engaging conversation over a variety of appetizers including cheese, olives, breads, and ham.. along with a very nice white port! Dinner focused on the best arroz de marisco either of us had ever had.. accompanied by a nice Vinho Verde! A very unique experience.. highly recommended!.

This was a very good experience! The location is not your typical restaurant but rather a lot more personal and meaningful place. The food was really good, and it was very well spaced out. Luis is super friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
