We had such a great time being hosted by Isabel for dinner. The meal was wonderful (so much delicious food) and the conversation was fantastic. We didn’t stop talking the whole night and learned so much about Portuguese history, geography, culture, wine, and more! I would highly recommend this experience to anyone traveling to Lisbon.

My partner and I had a lovely evening with Isobel, learning about and tasting traditional Portuguese foods, talking about local culture and customs, and getting a feel for this amazing place. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and by the time we departed we were good friends. Definitely recommend.

Isabel welcomed us into her home with open arms and lovely food. My 30-something daughter and I enjoyed the experience. Isabel has interesting perspectives and tells very interesting stories. It was so great to spend time with a local in their own home and hear about what it is really like to live in Lisbon. Highly recommend!

We are experienced travelers, but had never done a meal in a home with someone we had never met. We were slightly apprehensive. Isabel welcomed us in her home and instantly made us feel at home and comfortable. Isabel is a good cook, wonderful conversationalist, and gracious host.

From the moment Isabel welcomed us to the end of the night, we had the best experience learning about Portuguese food, tradition and everything in between. We didn’t want it to end. The laughters, food, wine, stories shared was never ending and feels like you’re dining with family! Best experience! We will be back for sure!

Isabel was a great host! She very kindly welcomed me into her home, and it wasn't long before we were chatting like old friends. As a solo traveller, I am used to eating alone, so it was especially nice to have someone sitting opposite me at the dinner table.
