We thoroughly enjoyed our Singapore Discovery Walking Trail with Alvin. We learnt a great deal about Singapore’s past and future and Alvin was a mine of information. We even had time for a great lunch at one of chinatown’s hawker markets, trying some of Singapore’s fabulous specialties.

This tour was such a unique experience. We’re so glad we did it! This was a perfect experience to show us a part of the local culture. Elaine was an exceptional guide. She was very helpful in making a last minute booking and even modified it to fit our schedule. We’re so glad we met her and took this tour!

Joisse was great— fun and knowledgeable, and she made the tour extra special for us too. Shes been really helpful even after the tour with loads of tips etc. the tour itself gave historical insight into a culture not really covered in the regular tours. The food sampling was nice too.

Alvin has a huge amount of knowledge on the culture and history of Singapore. The tour was interesting and had lots of different points of interest. I had a great time seeing Singapore for the first time, and Alvin managed to answer all of my questions about the country. Highly recommended!

Overall great experience! Alvin and his friend brought my dad to Buddha tooth relic temple (I requested to skip others), Chinatown, City Gallery, Thian Hock Keng temple and Maxwell food centre. Alvin and his friend even brought my Dad back to hotel as my Dad is not familiar with Chinatown and hotel is nearby. Thank you Alvin for helping to take photos for my Dad, such precious memories :)

The tour with Elaine far exceeded my expectations. Elaine clearly has a deep knowledge of Buddhism and meditation. It was a pleasure to interact with her. The tea and food experiences were wonderful. I am grateful that the "With Locals" app enabled us to connect.
