Maria was an absolute delight. From the moment we met she taught me and inspired me to speak and love Español. She was very patient and encouraging and most of all a great teacher. I have vowed to practice so that next time we meet we can experience more beauty in Madrid. Gracias.

We had a wonderful time in Lola's class. She was knowledgeable, clear in her information and instructions, and very accommodating of dietary requirements (including vegetarian). We walked away full of good food and keen to try making it ourselves! The small group size was also perfect.

We had a wonderful time with Ari and Abuela. We learned to make Seafood Paella and Spanish Omelet/Tortilla. The interactions were fun and the food was incredible and plentiful! Abuela was very patient with our many questions and Ari was very patient translating them. Ari also gave us some great pointers for our next activity of the day. All in all, it was a fantastic experience!

We would not recommend this experience more. Antonia and Ariadna welcomed us into their (pristine) home. Ariadna spoke perfect English and translated our many questions for Abuela. The produce was so fresh and the food was something out of our dreams. We made Seafood Paella and Spanish Tortilla we would highly recommend. So grateful to have this experience.

Ari and grandma were wonderful. And grandma’s authentic cooking style coupled with Ari’s foodie knowledge of everything Madrid were a highlight of our family visit. Our teen kids were able to experience something very real. And awesome paella!

What a wonderful way to experience the culture and hospitality of Spain! We were welcomed into their home, cooked delicious food in the traditional way, and shared our meal while chatting as friends. If you enjoy cooking I cannot recommend this enough!

My husband and I enjoyed our time with Julio. My husband is the photographer and learned things about taking pictures from Julio. Loved that it was just the two of us with him. He took us to place and pointed out things we never would have seen while we were in Madrid.

Ariadna and her Grandmother were so welcoming. We learned to cook the Spanish dishes with such good instructions. We can’t wait to replicate at home. My husband fell in love with Ariadna’s grandmother, she reminded my husband of his grandmother and they hit it off immediately. You have to do this experience.

My wife Davina and I had the most remarkable time with Ariadna and Abuela! They were kind, gracious, and most importantly funny. We will for sure be booking another trip and cooking with Abuela will be in our to do list! Thank you both for welcoming us to your home!
