Learn about their personal stories, and find out how you can explore Spain together
Majo is a born teacher! We learned so much history of the Spanish royal families and important artists that made the sites, paintings, and sculpture we saw come alive. She tells her stories with humor and love. Don't miss this!
Maria took us on a fantastic tour through various authentic bars in Madrid which we would not have found without her. We got to try a variety of different food and drinks. Maria did a great job in explaining everything and gave us many wonderful insights into the culture of Madrid in general and its delicious cuisine in particular. Thank you very much again, Maria, for the magnificent evening!
Exploring Madrid with Viktor is both entertaining and a learning experience. Viktor has a way of making the tour enjoyable while sharing his passion for history and deep knowledge of the city. I always find walking tours as a good opportunity of getting a good overview of any city…but touring with Viktor has gone over and beyond just an overview.
We had a very nice walk with Victor. Great information and history. He made sure we saw the churches. That was very kind of him. He’s lovely.
Tao was very knowledgeable of the Gothic area and regaled us with stories of growing up in the area. I would highly recommend.
Julio was an articulate and gracious guide as he showed us all around the historic parts of Madrid. He presented all of the information in with humor and storytelling that made it so interesting. His English is impeccable so very easy to understand throughout. I'm so glad we did this tour to get the "lay of the land" as our visit to Madrid began!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Majo and felt she gave us a good understanding of the rich history as well as how the culture came to be today. We would highly recommend booking with her!
Majo spent several hours with us going through highlights of the Reina Sofia Museum. The art work there really reflects the historical and political struggles of the last century and a half, and Amy helped us understand both the artworks and the politics much better.
We toured both the Prado and the Reina Sofia with Maria and she was an excellent guide to both museums. Very knowledgeable about art history, a great story teller and super fun to be around. She was our favorite tour guide in Madrid! Highly recommended.
Great fall afternoon with Carmen on a walking tour of Madrid! Really interesting tour of the palace (outside) and palace cathedral then around the old town. Carmen was knowledgeable, helpful, pleasant and fun. Having a drink in Cerveceria Alamana where Hemingway used to hang out with bullfighters was a real highlight.
