She knows so much about the history of the old kingdoms before Thailand became Thailand, and about how Buddhism is an integral part of Thai life, that she really brought the city to life for us.

So fun, great way to explore!
Ae was a wonderful guide and I am so glad we booked her tour. We were able to see so much more of Chaing Mai by bike and part of the magic were the side streets and different neighborhoods of the city. Our tour had sprinkles of food tour, history, and Thai way of life sprinkled in - great for our family, 2 adults and 2 children ages 11 and 13.

Wonderful afternoon in Chiang Mai
We had a wonderful afternoon with Boy exploring all of the local Chiang Mai gems - we went to many beautiful temples, had some delicious local food, and learned a lot from Boy - you can definitely tell he is passionate about his home, and we were glad to spend 4 hours seeing such a warm and welcoming city. Highly recommend this tour if you are seeing Chiang Mai for the first time.

Great way to see the city
‘Boy’ delivered a great three hour tour of the city, introducing me to some history, some culture, and some delicious Thai food and drinks I would not have tried on my own. He also showed me a couple of cool ways to use the camera on my phone. The experience was worth its weight in gold. I’m only sorry I could not have stayed longer!

If you have never been here, this is a great way to see the old city
‘Boy’ is very interesting and friendly guide who has a passion for his town
The walk was done at a nice pace and also with a Thai tea and snack along the way
Ladies should take a cover for shoulders in temples , not a problem if not got one as they do hire for a very small fee
