Worth the early morning start... a temple visit guided by Kit is a must do in Chiang Mai - He has excellent English and gives his personal insights into the Buddhist way of life. Early morning ensures the temple isn't busy, and the coffee and visit to the jungle temple makes a great morning trip.

The sunrise tour with Kit was very nice and well organized. Kit being an ex-monk provided a lot of information about monks lives and the principles of Buddhism. Ask him about the interesting stories from his grandfather. I’m sure you’d enjoy them. He was very prompt in communication and clear in answering questions.
