I was only able to spend a few hours with Muhammad but I can’t recommend him highly enough. Lots of insight. He got me to go over to the Asian side of the city and a ride on the ferry. Thank you. Made it special…and a lovely guy!

Sozum was awesome! She took us to places we never would have found on our own, and she told us stories of the food areas and things about the history of the area. We found her very informative and fun to chat with while embibing in some excellent Turkish food.

Emir is truly a citizen of the world. Having lived in several countries, he brings an exceptional perspective to his tours. He has a depth of knowledge on history and it is obvious he loves both the subject and his city. We enjoyed his tour very much. Not least was the excellent baklava at the end.

Alp, was a great guide. We arrived in Istanbul and met with Alp after dropping our bags at the hotel. Alp, showed us the city area, shared the history all around us, suggested places to eat, enjoy and visit. We would suggest that anyone spend time with Alp he is great!

A wonderful introduction to Istanbul and its history through an artisanal culinary lens. Emer paced the tour really well letting us soak up the vibe of each area and place he took us too. We’d never have ventured to the places he showed us and Emer is clearly proud of the cities food heritage. Some of the family run businesses were very special.

Emre our guide was outstanding. He was punctual, displayed excellent knowledge of Turkish food and displayed an engaging personality. His English was perfect and he explained Turkish culture in an informative manner. His ten selections of Turkish food was varied and delicious. You would not find a better guide than Emre.

Deniz is passionate about food and enthusiastic about sharing her favorite dishes and places. With excellent English and knowledge, she took us through back streets, on the ferry, and different neighborhoods as we feasted, laughed, and learned so much. i especially loved the fish wraps. Highly recommend this trip.

Emir was a very accomplished guide, very knowledgeable & passionate about history & Istanbul. We saw lots of little gems that we wouldn’t have seen as a tourist & really enjoyed our tour.
