My father and I had already spent several days in Amsterdam doing most of the touristy stuff (museums, canal tour, etc) and to have a local like Olga share her expertise and knowledge helped elevate our time here. We had already seen most of the things she showed us, but never knew what it was. Many of the things she showed us were truly hidden gems you might read about in a guide book but never find on your own! Truly a worthwhile experience. I had so much fun on this windmill and that factory cheese tour with Olga. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. I got to see the windmills and learn all about their history. I got to visit at Judge cheese factory and try all the different types of cheeses they had. I also got to see how wooden Dutch shoes are made (very cool). She was so polite by holding my bags when I wanted to take pictures, waiting for me to pick out souvenirs, waiting for me to enjoy some ice cream, and etc.. I almost twisted my ankle while walking with her and she literally stopped me from falling on the ground. She was also nice enough to offer to pick me up from my hotel versus me having to pay a taxi. Olga is very nice, and very professional. I highly recommend this tour! Highly recommended tour

I had alerted Olga to the fact that I walk rather slowly using a walking aid. Olga set a gentle pace but nevertheless we covered the principal sights as well as some special corners of central Amsterdam. Olga combined historical facts with fascinating background material. I strongly recommend this tour as a way in to the city. And give Olga my highest recommendation as guide. She was very knowledgeable, professional, with a good sense of humor and timing, and lots of fascinating tidbits about the city. She showed me many hidden spots that would have been so easy to overlook. I was worried that 3 hours might be long, but she timed it well and filled it with exactly the right balance of history and culture and architecture and art, so that it flew by. History aspect of the tour was great, Olga showed us a lot of cool things we wouldn't have known about. Her personality was unapproachable though. She was quite dismissive if we asked questions, kinda giving us a "duh" answer when we asked everyday life questions. Robotic with her story telling. We only had one day to spend in Amsterdam so we thought the best way to get the most out of our visit was with a walking tour. Olga met us right at the designated time and gave us a wonder tour of the various parts of the city, telling us about the history and the landmarks. It did not feel rushed, Olga was very thorough and knowledgeable and a fantastic story teller. She even pointed out some of her favorite eateries, of which we tried one after the tour was ended. Olga was super flexible and accommodating for our tour. She met us at our hotel and started into a great tour experience. We had a three hour walking tour and we took a short rest and enjoyed the sunny day about half way through the tour. My wife and I had limited time in Amsterdam, as we were only staying 1 day and flying out the next afternoon. Not really knowing what to do or see, we booked this tour. Olga did an amazing job walking us around the main areas and then off the beaten paths where there is a more local vibe. She showed us several preferred location where you will get local prices and food / drinks - to include a bar, a bakery, and a cheese / bread shop. You also get away from the tourist areas which is what we prefer to do. It was a wonderful time and we highly recommend this for anyone staying in Amsterdam - if you have a longer stay, do this tour early on and you can ensure you get them most out of your trip. My husband and I had the best day with Olga for our food tour! She took us to some fantastic hidden gems and we got to try all the best traditional Amsterdam snacks we were looking forward to! Olga was very nice, informative, open to questions, even when unrelated to the tour (suggestions on best ATM's to withdrawal cash). Gave us suggestions on restaurants and popular food stops on social media. She was a fill-in replacement for our originally scheduled tour guide, and voiced that she preferred not doing shorter tours like we had scheduled, which made us feel like we had made a bad choice. We had a lovely morning with Olga. Anyone who likes cookies as much as us (and knows the best place to go in Amsterdam to get them) was always going to be a hit! Olga clearly loves Amsterdam and her enthusiasm for the city made it a most enjoyable 3 hours. We had a wonderful time with our local food guide Olga. She brought us to restaurants that serve traditional Dutch food (which was my request) What I liked about the tour is that we were brought to restaurants were locals ate. We had croquettes, stroopwaffels, pancakes, herring fish and a lot more. We even tried a Surinamese-Chinese dish! She not only talked about the food but also tje history that came with it.
