We had an incredible full-day tour of Florence with Dina as our private guide, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! Dina was the best! We booked a Highlights and hidden gems tour in Florence for my husband and 2 kids 15/13. Dina was truly awesome. Communication was fantastic pre tour and during - she provided us with so many fun facts and interesting stories. (Ones you can’t google!) We saw sights, learned the history and her restaurant knowledge is A+. Dina was so easy to be with, very personable and fun. She is also so kind and super helpful. My daughter, 13 missed the tour because she was sick. Dina had checked in with me to see how she was doing and if we needed anything. Wow! How incredibly thoughtful. Dina goes above and beyond. Daniele, we asked Daniele to take us to sights and neighbourhoods away from the highlights in central historic room. This he did admirably. Collecting the 4 of us from our hotel, he took us to places we would not have gone to or found by ourselves. His anecdotes and humour also enlivened the walk and have given us a very good memory of a part of hidden Rome. Our tour with Daniele was one of the best experiences in our 4.5 weeks in Europe. We did the tour with him on the first afternoon in Rome so was a perfect introduction. His explanations were clear and really interesting. He took the time to understand what we were interested in and incorporated this in his tour. We didn't go to the 'big'tourist spots in Rome - he took us to amazing street food (some of the places we revisited in the following days), we wound through neighbourhoods we may not have discovered on our own and had a really great three hours. Thank you - my husband and I really enjoyed it - and our three teenagers absolutely loved it. Excellent introduction to Rome

Did a tour with Eleonora today and she was amazing! Yes this was a food tour but we also learned about the history of Rome and the area we were touring while walking. We learned so many things about the different foods that the Romans love and how the foods were produced to make them more regional. We were warned to come hungry and we did however we still couldn’t finish all of the different foods we were offered. We couldn’t even eat dinner tonight because we were still full!!Amazing Food Tour!!

We met up with Eleonora on a cold and very rainy afternoon, feeling miserable and thinking we didn't really want to do this tour! Eleonora soon dispelled any negative feelings we had and we embarked upon a wonderful tour of some key tourists venues but also some little known "hidden gems". Eleonora was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and extremely good company. We enjoyed an espresso in a nice cafe surrounded by statuary and a spritz in an upbeat bar popular with the locals. we continued with the tour which included a visit to the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. we almost forgot about the rain and cold. I found this last minute. We didn't have a lot of time to spend in Rome and we all wanted to try some good, authentic food. Did not disappoint! Roberto was super friendly, laid back, really knew his local history as well as the food! He brought us around the area, through a passage basically only known to locals and the Jewish Ghetto was really interesting too! It was like walking around with a new friend. And even though its a "walking tour" don't worry, you dont have to walk and eat at the same time. Roberto found nice relaxing places to eat. We had a hard time finishing as it was so much food! Important!!! I hope I have your attention because giving 10/10 doesn’t do Dina justice. Dina went out of her way to engage our 17 year old niece during our 5 hour tour of Florence exploring and curtailing the tour to her interests! We learned so many interesting things besides having the best porchetta sandwiches during our Italy trip. I would love to write a fabulous review but, Roberto never showed up!! We waited for 45mins and we never saw him. We even were asking people that looked a little like him but with no result. At our meeting time of 10.00am the square was not that busy so it was not as if you could not find us. We took photos to prove we were there and even asked a coffee shop there for a receipt to prove also. After 45min we left and went to a fantastic deli in the square were we found out that Roberto does take his tours to. I have messaged Roberto via the app but received no reply. Worst thing also…. The money was still taken out of my account!!A No Show

Of course, it is impossible to admire all the beauty the historical centre of the Eternal City has to offer, but the walking tour sure was a great start. Our guide Simona was really nice and knowledgeable . She both fed us facts and legends about each site we visited. What an exceptional experience with Dina from initial booking through farewell. Dina immediately reached out to confirm our tour and asked about any special requirements (interesting for a 13yr old). She touched base in the days before our tour, including the evening before to remind us to have breakfast, bring water, etc. On the day of our tour it was 100+ degrees in Florence and Dina made sure to keep us in the shade, stop for breaks, and find the best shady spots. Her knowledge of Florence and its history is fantastic; she kept the stories interesting and engaged with our daughter throughout out the day. She truly went above and beyond to make this a special experience; from taking pictures, making dinner recommendations, sharing the BEST Cappucino spot and sharing her art history knowledge.
