This experience of the amazing city of Seville was top notch. With Elena, we not only discovered the food culture of Spanish city, but we also learnt so much history of the area. We did the Taste of Triana - Market & Tapas Experience with Elena. It was a fantastic experience with the best combination of food, wine and history. Elena had an intimate knowledge of the Triana Markets and so was able to show us around and order us tapas dishes, cheeses, salads and other local delicacies that we would never would have thought of ordering. She also introduced us to local wines and spirits that we had never experienced before. Elena’s personality was bubbly and gregarious - she had a great sense of humour and nothing was too much trouble. The experience with Elena was one of the best highlights of our visit to Seville. The best experience!!

We did the walking tour of the Alcazar and sourrounding with Alba and it was amazing. Alba waited for us with a smile in the placa in fronte of the Alcazar and we went right in (we went at 10.00). From the moment we walked in, we were amazed by the architecture but most of all by the history and anecdotes that Alba told us! She was very knowledgeable, funny and nice and it was a pleasure listening to her. After the Alcazar we went to the Jewish quarter and after some more amazing stories and tips we finished the tour. I can’t recommend Alba enough, book her and you will have the best insights of Sevilla! Best experience in Sevilla

A delightful experience. Elena superbly guided us through some wonderful iconic sights, & hidden gems. It was terrific to share stories of our respective countries. Elena showed genuine curiosity & interest in our country, as we did hearing & learning from her. Given the heat in Seville, it was a welcome respite to visit the Convent & have lovely home- baked biscuits by the Nuns & have coffee in the nearby bar. We were so intrigued with Alba's stories and anecdotes that the time flew by. She brought us to every area of the Alcazar and walked the gardens with us. We not only heard the history, but the legends of the times as well. We felt as if we were walking through time as Alba brought history to life for us. Elena was fantastic! She took us to several different stops with a variety of flavors and explained the historical and cultural context of each dish and paired it well with drinks appropriate for the taste and the locale. Each place was clearly the favorite of locals as opposed to a tourist spot. Elena not only had deep knowledge of the wine and drink selections but also explained the cultural nuances of our surroundings. She also explained a lot about Flamenco and its origins and histories as well as the Andalusian language living right in front of us! Very much worth the value! My wife and I did an orientation tour on our first morning in Seville with Alba. We have done many Withlocals tours over the years and this was without a doubt one of the best. We had a great time with Elena on the Drinks & Bites tour in Seville. Ordering tapas from a non-touristy bar is a huge challenge if you don't know Spanish - or the bartenders. Elena took us to fantastic hidden gems that we would have never found (or navigated) without her. She's extremely passionate about Seville, and loves to show off her city. Tapas and Vermut!

Alba was excellent. Super friendly and easy going. She had a wealth of historical knowledge and was able to communicate in a fun and easy way so both adults and children could understand and enjoy. Giving our kids some fun tasks and things to look for on the way around was also a great idea - sorry they cheated on the maze though! "Thank you so much Alba. Elena was an excellent guide, with a really deep knowledge of Seville culture, food and traditions. She is also very relaxed and fun which made the day fly by. The food was, of course, excellent and she took us to small family run tapas establishments for some really different dishes. We ate too much, laughed a lot and learned loads. Elena provided us with a fantastic food tour experience in Triana. We tried lots of different foods and drinks, and were very full by the end of the tour. Elena also gave a lot of great historical background information on the food and neighborhood. Elena has training in gastronomy/wine, in addition to being born and raised in Seville, making her a fantastic tour guide. The one area for improvement would be around organization. Elena reached out to reschedule our tour the day before, which luckily we were able to accommodate. We loved Elena! She is so warm, professional and deeply knowledgeable about her home town. We had such an amazing time that we booked her again for the following day! Seamlessly integrating information about history, culture, and food, she deeply enriched our visit to Sevilla. We learned and experienced things that we would never have had access to otherwise — for example, a bar steeped in the history of flamenco as a form of artistic resistance that served an exclusive variety of orange wine and a fantastic dish of pork prepared in an Arabian style. Everywhere we went we were warmly welcomed because we were with her. We did not encounter tourists or other guides at any of our food stops. Elena was also very generous with recommendations and answers to our questions beyond the time that we spent with her. Alba was the very best! After travel delays and arriving in Seville much later in the day than expected and weary from the trip, Alba’s energy was exactly what we needed! We have taken several food tours in our travels but Elana's was by far the best. She took us to two different family-owned restaurants. The way she was greeted was like she was a member of the family. The service the staff provided us was second to none and they treated us like family. My wife and I booked a tour of Sevilla’s old Jewish Quarter with Alba. It was a great experience. Two things stood out for us. First, we are both a bit mobility challenged (we each walk with a cane). Alba accommodated us in terms of pacing and put in a stop for coffee and a bit of rest in the middle of the tour. Second, Alba really knows her subject, having done significant academic work on the subject. Hers was not a canned tour presentation but rather a thoughtful, insightful trip through events and places that we had not known a lot about.
